For one of our Clients - a company related to digital technologies, Cloud, Big Data and security we are looking for the Candidates for the position of: Senior Network Performance Engineer.

Responsibilites:

• Reviewing network design and configuration to proactively identify potential bottlenecks and other problems that will likely impact service performance and stability,
• Working with area owners to tune infrastructure, platform, and application network configurations to meet programme performance requirements,
• Working with area owners to troubleshoot and solve networking problems,
• Coordinating with nonfunctional test teams to ensure load, performance and break testing are properly targeted and results are understood to drive programme decisions,
• Coordinating the technical implementation of networking improvements,
• Ensuring effective monitoring and alerting of the networking layer,
• Ensuring Interoperability,
• Performing cost-benefit analyses,
• Verifying that changes to the network are feasible within the architectural framework.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in ICT,
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of large distributed networks with emphasis on highly availability, high performance, high level of security and zero data loss,
• Strong knowledge of SDNs and Cisco ACI,
• Knowledge of Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls,
• Experience with Linux kernel network parameter tuning,
• Experience with load balancers, F5 BigIP experience a plus,
• Experience with RedHat Openshift,
• Experience with Istio service mesh,
• Knowledge and experience in the interoperability domain based on Web Services (REST, SOAP),
• Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment,
• Must be details oriented, analytical, and demonstrate ability to work in multinational environments,
• Must be self-directed with proven ability to make mature decisions supported by thorough data analysis,
• Good communication skills in English,
• Very good writing skills in English,
• Working experience with EU client or other public institutions,
• University degree (master or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
