For one of our Clients - an American IT infrastructure service provider that designs, builds, manages and develops large-scale we are looking for the Candidates for the position of: IMS Database Management - Systems Programmer.

Responsibilities:

• Database instance tuning, 
• Patching and upgrades, 
• Managing space, 
• Code migration and change controls,
• Schema management, 
• SQL tuning, and application database design support.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in IMS database management,
• Excellence in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
• Experience in IMS database management and IMS maintenance appliance,
• High accuracy and attention to details,
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships,
• Excellent problem-solving skills,
• Experience in tools & techniques to extract and format database data,
• Strong skills in relational database technology.

Additional Skills and Experience which is a plus (not strictly required):

• Experience in a mainframe IT environment, with good skills in TSO/ISPF, JCL, CICS, COBOL,
• Knowledge of DBDC would be an asset,
• Communication skills, written and verbal.
